We provide lessons on the Cello, Double Bass and viola da gamba to students of all ages (5+) and skill levels.

 

Our lessons are taught at our home studio in Port Coquitlam BC. Free parking is available nearby.  Online lessons are also available.

 

We recommend that students have one 1 hour lesson every week, but we recognize that each student has their own goals and level of commitment, and the number of lessons each month can reflect that. We also understand that everyone has very busy schedules, and we try to be as flexible as we can.

 

Our teaching style starts with determining each student’s personal goals. Then we can determine a curriculum and lesson schedule which will allow them to meet those goals. We also encourage our school aged students to get involved with local Youth Orchestras, as we strongly believe that making music with others is critical in the development of good musicianship. We work hard with our students to help them meet those goals, whether that goal is a successful audition, a Royal Conservatory Music Exam, or even just to have fun learning an instrument!
